I found writing my sweetie a letter to tell him how I felt about our situation helped so much. There was no room for misunderstandings, no part heard sentences, no interpretation of tone and most of all NO arguing. It took away the need to feel defensive, he could read as much or as little as he wanted and read it again. Its important to tell your sweetie its not a critism but that its YOUR feelings. It opened up our dialogue and we are now working together to resolve issues that have been eating at our marriage for 2 years.
