A few months ago I had a strange thing happen with my cell phone. All of a sudden I wasn't able to receive messages...

After a couple of days, I called the phone company. They informed me that my calls had been forwarded... to a number that I didn't recognize? They couldn't tell me who the number belonged to. I cancelled the forward and have kept an eye on things since.


Well...recently while paying bills...DH and skids cell bill; they have their own account...there was a number on Sd's call log that caught my eye! It turned out to be the number where my phone had been forwarded? Through some investigation...I found that the number belongs to BM's sister?

According to the phone company...there are only a couple of ways that this can happen. (1) if I call my phone company and request this (2) if I put a sequence/code "from" my phone and do it. Neither of which "I" did. The only thing that I can think is that that SD did it??? It doesn't seem like something she would do. The only other way is if someone called and posed as me and did it? Either way, it is a clear violation of my personal space/information/privacy...I'm pretty upset about it actually.

DH is gone for a couple of weeks on a trip...the thought of dealing with this is exhausting... I dread it. He is so defensive of Skids...but I really, really, really think this is bad.

Any opinions/advice appreciated.

My bff recently went through this. Her SO downloaded software into her phone to have her text messages copied & forwarded to SO's phone in order to "keep tabs" on her. It is possible, but whoever did it would have had to have access to your phone.

Any chance of you straight out demanding from SD that she tell you what happened (acting as if you already know) so she feels guilty enough to fess up ?

BM1 went onto BF's phone carrier's website and "broke in" to his account....got my phone number and since harasses me.

We changed all the passwords and things and guess what..she did it AGAIN!!

We've yet to call the company and have them do something about it, but BF gets a text message every time she does saying that someone has accessed his account online. She's the only one who would..and when she suddenly gets my number out of nowhere who else could it be?? She admitted to it before but won't anymore.

If you can, I would file charges if it's BM doing this...I've talked to BF about seeing what he can do about it, this is fraud. I want BM to pay for every thing she can legally because she spends her life getting away with too much and ruining everyone else's lives doing it, and since she won't stop when asked maybe a hefty fine or time in jail would change her tune and she might finally leave innocent people alone. Seriously, she deserves it for the lines she crosses.

I would contact the cell company and request that access to your account have a "password" or code that has to be given for anything to be done with your line, then make that password/code something that only you would know. I'd also put one of those security codes on your phone. It may be annoying when you want to use it, but when you aren't using it, you can lock your phone and noone can do anything with it. Then, I'd have a chat with SD about it (as stated earlier, act like you already know the truth... Perhaps "So, would you like to tell me how my calls were forwarded to BM's sister's phone?").

Is there any way that BM could have done it? You just have to wonder though what was supposed to come of listening to your messages??
